Tonight's auditions came from Salt Lake City. First up was David Osmond, son of the Osmond Family singer, Allen. David has been singing in groups since 4 and struggles with MS. His performance of "Something Within Me" earned him a gold ticket, but the judges cautioned him to breakout of his harmony/group singing and to find his own individualist style.

Dressed as a Goth, Tara Matthews failed to impress with her "One Day I'll Fly Away." And her sagging gartered stockings didn't help.

Then we had three quick forgettable chirpers who all crashed: Aleesha Turner, Katie Sullivan, and Rich Kagel.

Chris Kirkham brought along his 6'4" buddy Greg dressed in a full pink bunny outfit. Kris laid an egg while Simon got a big bunny hug. Say, isn't this supposed to be a singing contest?

Finally we heard talent when stay-at-home mom Frankie Jordan nailed "Meet You Downstairs." She easily won a gold ticket and credits her win with "I was born to entertain."

Recently divorced Megan Corkrey has a two year son and a new direction in life with her gold ticket to Hollywood. She easily won over the judges with "Can't Help Loving That Man of Mine." She has a unique voice, pleasant face and may be a hot contender in this season. Even Simon admitted that he "absolutely loved" her performance.

Andrew Gibson maimed his gospel/soul singing and it was so bad, I can't remember what he sang…..that is, tried to sing.

Senior high school president, Austin Sisneros will have to postpone his prom plans as he won a golden ticket with "It Takes a Village." But for such a young singer, his songs were for a more mature and experienced voice. He needs to get in touch with his "teenishness" to stand out.

Standing 6'2" in her black heels, young sixteen year old Taylor Vaifanua wanted a Hollywood ticket more than anything. And she won it "Joyful, Joyful." She has a natural but slightly rough voice that actually makes her standout from the masses.

Overcoming the loss of her father three years ago and then her mother's death the following year, seventeen year old Rose Flack has been living with another family. She is focused on making something special out of her life and tonight her parents are smiling and hugging one another after she easily won a golden ticket with "I Feel The Earth Move." She has a unique style and distinctive voice. With just a little coaching, she will be a major contender.

And that wraps up tonight's auditions from Salt Lake. Remember to return here tomorrow for my recap written just for you.
