American Idol Semi-Final Round, Results Of Group One on February 18th: Three Survive and Nine Don't

The results are in for Group One of American Idol hopefuls. There were 24 million votes cast. There really were no major surprises as Alexis Grace, Michael Sarver, and Danny Gokey made the cut. Of those three, the standout in both style and vocals is Alexis. She could go very far.

Oil platform worker Michael is probably the “ah shucks” candidate. He is a loving family man who hugs his wife and plays with his children. He really doesn’t have that “star” factor, but his story would make a fine Hallmark TV Network special.

Now a lot of people consider Danny to be the main competitor. I beg to differ but we will see in time. 

Of the nine who are packing their bags, the only memorable singer was Tatiana Nicole Del Toro. She will be remembered for her annoyance, whining, and shameless begging.
